Traveling Traditions was created from a lifetime of gathering — the North Dakota way. Homes filled with laughter, lefse dust on every surface, cousins running everywhere, and long tables (and kids’ tables!) where everyone had a place. There were hours of Pinochle and games, one-on-one conversations, and that easy sense of belonging that comes from being surrounded by people you love.

Those early rhythms shaped how I see travel today.
